SliceNet 5G Webinar on Cross-Plane Orchestration and Use Cases Prototyping

This webinar is on System Architecture, presented by José Cabaça, Networks Systems Architecture, Technology and Innovation Strategy, Altice Labs. The webinar will focus on SliceNet architecture and respective functional blocks focusing on the NSP and DSP orchestration sub-planes as well as prototyping of use cases in different vertical sectors applications.

José will present technical achievements and innovation focusing on end-to-end network slice orchestration. He will address the main challenges and requirements for the several orchestrators, namely the DSP Service and Slice Orchestrator (SSO), NSP SSO and NSP NFV MEC RAN Orchestrator (NMRO). A brief introduction to the technical approach for design of the orchestrators is given. Finally, several scenarios identifying the orchestrator role will be presented, starting with the DSP end-to-end Network Slice Orchestration, NSP Network Slice Optimization Orchestration and DSP end-to-end Network Slice Optimization Orchestration.

This webinar is aimed at developers and designers both in vertical industries and research, interested in 5G system architecture and orchestration.
